Bp Southern Africa
Verbal Abuse by BP Manage

Stopped at BP in George, York str around 1pm. Asked the petrol attendant for R100 unleaded, petrol attendant repeated the request and was heard by fellow employees. After checking the oil and water the attendant walks up to the driver seat and ask for R375, we then said no we asked for R100 and do not have that much money, I requested for the manager who instructed us to pull the car to the side so that he could syphon the fuel out which did not work due to the tank being to low according to the manager (who had already syphoned about 2l out). Being young and inexperienced I contacted my dad for legal advice and was advised that the matter is to be sorted out between the employer and employee as the mistake was the employees. When trying to tell the manager of this he aggressively shouted @ me by saying that he will jack the car up and take our petrol tank out to get his fuel, I turned and asked the manager if that was not illegal which at this point he completely lost it and told us to take the petrol and off and never to return again.(We paid the R100 to the petrol attendant as well as a tip and left.)Shocked to my core that a MANAGER would treat customers like this.
