Total lack of understanding

I had ordered from an online company who makes use of Fastway Courier service. I had informed the online store that the courier company needed to call me in advance so that I can make arrangements for someone to pick up the parcel for me. They assured me that they had noted that down on the parcel.

The next day, I received a phone call at 10:30 during the day to inform me that they were waiting outside my residence. As I was explaining the situation, the person on the other line hung up on me. I then called customer services and explained the situation. I asked them if they could deliver it the following day, which was a Friday, at 16:00. Simphiwe called and confirmed that someone would deliver at 4 pm.

The next day at 15:15 I receive a call again saying that they were waiting outside my residence. When I told them that I would only be there at 4 and that was the arrangement, they said that they finished work at 4. After I arrived home and receieved the parcel, I saw that the following was clearly marked on the parcel:
-Call in advance
-Deliver at 16:00

In short, please employ people who can read and understand English and improve your level of communication!
