I thought I would mark a year of me having my dream car with a story of shoddy service to the maximum. I bought an Alfa Romeo Gt from Autohaus angel's sea point branch back in 2012. Paul at the time was the manager on site. After purchasing the car I realise that my passenger rail was not working and asked Paul to order a new one. I supplied my Vin number and other details as requested in order to get the new rail.
After having provided the details I followed up around 2 weeks later to discover that they ordered the wrong seat, as stated by the upholsterer. During this time Sea point branch turned over at least 3 sales people (& or managers in this time), I then got passed onto Louis who said that nothing could be done (manager at another branch). So In closing I provided Paul (the manager at the time) with the details, he got the order wrong and a year down the line, I still do not have a passenger seat that works. I was told that it is my problem and expense (R3500) to sort out. This by far is the worst service I have ever received. Passing the buck and blaming the consumer for a situation I clearly had no control over. Autohaus!
