I bought a isuzu d/cab a year ago from mccarthy gm hatfield. the sales person assured me that they dont sell any accident damaged vehicles. 6 months ago the door, bonnet and roof started showing signs of respray and the door started rusting, the grill was also resprayed and the paint was peeling off. I took it back to Mccarthy, they repaired the damages and told me that they will source me another vehicle. 2 days ago i was in a minor front end accident, the damage should not have been so bad, but the bonnet and fender basicly disintegrated, the amount of body putty on the bonnet and fender exceeds 4mm. on further inspection one can see that pieces of metal plates were welded on the bonnet and fender, underneath these plates are holes and rust.
this is really a ripoff, how can I still owe the bank money on a vehicle that has been in such a big accident that they used plates and putty to cover up the damages. The service book for the vehicle was also lost and they just gave me a new one and stamped every page. this service book is worthless.
