Peters transport is the worst transport company I have ever come across.
We agreed on a closed truck for 8am as that it what we paid for. On the day of the move he sends us a trailer without even checking with us. He said his truck broke down and another truck can only be arranged at 10am. We were fine with this.
The truck he arranged was a subcontracted Crox transport that and had got lost on the way to our place and Peter wasn't able to get in touch with them. I found this to be very unprofessional. I had to go out of my way and go fetch them to get to my place.
The guys had no bubble wrap, plastics with them yet we requested and paid for it. When we contacted Peter he had an attitude over the phone saying we can do the move tomorrow or he can give the deposit back. This is terrible customer service. This shows incompetency and poor organizational skills.
As a result we had to arrange our own ways of trying to cover the furniture which ended up getting scratched.
We only ended up getting everything packed into the truck at 15:30pm.
The guys he arranged even a significant amount of cash from us. I will never in my life use Peters transport again, nor will I recommend
