On 18 July I went to fill my polo tdi with diesel. I stopped at the diesel pumps and requested 50ppm diesel. The attendant confirmed this and proceeded to fill the vehicle. Moments later he stop and came to me to say he had started to fill with unleaded petrol. Only 1.36l of fuel was pumped into the tank fortunately. The manager was off sight so he was called. He assured me that they will have my vehicle towed to a vw garage to be attended to, loaned me a vehicle for the day while this was being done and to top it all off when I collected my car earlier they had completely filled my tank for me.
I thank all involved for their speedy and painless manor in which this problem was attended too. Mistakes happen, and this mistake was promptly corrected to exceed my expectations.
