PROVIDE A SERVICE! Collect a parcel, simple!

I was asked by an International Company to return a broken Blackberry Playbook to them for their records. They emailed me the instruction, and included their International Fedex Account Number so that I am not liable for any costs. I explain this to Mr Tommy Van Rooyen over the telephone. He says no problem, send me that email, and your address, I'll get a collection out to you. Perfect.

In walks Mr Cheslyn Louw, with a Waybill. I greet him and start filling out my details on the Waybill, and also explain this is going on THEIR Fedex Account Number, so heFedex should have all the details. He then says I must also provide him with an Invoice for the item for Customs. I explain I'm the end user, there is no value to the item, it's broken in half, and the value is zero. Mr Louw then starts telling me he doesn't have time to wait for this, and won't take this parcel if there's no invoice!!

I call the Call Center, Mr Van Rooyen isn't there unfortunately, but another helpful black lady ALSO tells me I need to draw up an Invoice or they won't accept the parcel! What the is wrong with you people? it's got zero Value, and it's paid for by Blackberry on THEIR Account!!!
