I bought a full set of firestone tyres from this branch last year-despite a lot of warnings against this. This branch was running a special and I spent over R4000. A couple of weeks ago I noticed a noise on my rear right tyre when I drive. Yesterday I went to Super Quick Observatory for a 3D wheel allignmnet and they alerted me to incongruencies on the tyres which are causing the noise-both back rear tyres. So this morning I took the car to Montague Gardens where I purchased the tyres only to be met by an arrogant Kyle who did not even attempt to assist me. I explained my qualms and he immediately shifted the blame to my car either having faulty shocks or me not rotating my tyres. I informed him I have been driving for more than 13 years and have never experienced such before as I am well aware of what caring for tyres and a car entails. He then had the nerve to tell me to go to the tyre manufacturer directly and resolve my issue with them. He did not even offer to check the tyres. I find this to be absolutely disgusting and unbecoming of someone who is in the service industry. So i would like to appeal to anyone looking for tyres in Cape Town to not go to this branch!
