I purchased a Polo at Lindsay Saker Hyde Park from Francois du Preez about 3 months ago. One of the agreements was that the brakes/discs must be replaced as they were extremely noisy and shudder when applying brakes.
Since then, the vehicle has been back with them twice already, first there was no fault found with the brakes, the second time they replaced the front discs but left the rear brakes. The noise continued and I phoned Francois again but was told he had some hernia problem. A few weeks ago the vehicle indicated that a service is required in 4500km (I only had the vehicle for 4795KM), so I booked the vehicle at another VW dealership for a service and requested that they give a second opinion on the brakes.
After the service, they reported that the vehicle requires a new clutch kit, and the rear brakes needs to be replaced. So I contacted Julian Papiah via email and eventually phoned Francois. I was told that their DP was informed about the situation and they'll get back to me.
It's been more than 24 hours and I've heard nothing! The vehicle never went for a service as suggested by Francois, the rear brakes were never replaced, and after sales service is non existent
