I have filled up a Petrol can, throughout out my lifetime countless number of times at any petrol station. However for the first time EVER a Shell garage attendant (in Hatfield Pretoria) informed me that i'm not allowed to fill up my motor bikes petrol can and he could not give me any reason other than "Management does not allow this"
I think this is completely and utterly!!! How can someone refuse to sell me petrol??? Just because "Management does not allow this". I never knew it was a law petrol may only be put in cars??? Oh Wait THERE IS NO SUCH LAW THAT EXISTS.
It is quite sad actually i normally go out of my way to find a SHELL garage to fill up my car and petrol can for my motor bike, however i will now go out of my way NEVER TO FILL UP A SHELL garage.
