Gone to fetch my car, now the battery is flat

I took my Mitsubishi Colt 2.8 in for a repair about 3 weeks ago. When I went there yesterday, Pieter told me the battery of my vehicle broke their battery charger, because the negative pole and the positive pole in the battery was the problem. When I left my vehicle there, there was nothing wrong with the battery. They worked on the injectors, because the vehicle was overheating.
