I rented a car from Hertz Cape Town International. On receipt of the car it was marked with more than 8 damages to the car. Even all four wheels was marked, after my return it was mentioned to me that it's on the the wheel caps that was damaged. Now I need to pay for a dash on the tyre! If you look at the dash in the tyre it's totally in line with the damage on the cap! According to Wayne Scheltema, they don't rent cars out if the tyres are damaged. I can confirm that this car was rented to me with a damaged tyre!! I did not even stop next to a pavement during my rental period! On my return the inspector gave me a letter to sign confirming that according to me the tyre was not damaged by me. They didn't even call me before charging me with the tyre! I think the client serv ices is pathetic at Hertz Capet Town International!!
