When you buy a brand new Tata Xenon 3.0L bakkie you expect it to run at least a few years. Our bakkie has been givin problems since about two months into the buy. The central locking will only work now and then, the check engine light stayed on/off for most of the 10700 km with the engine cutting out just about all the time and then the engine ceased up. All along we have been trying for Tata to sort out the problems and all we got was a few hundred email addresses mailing around without any help what so ever or any solution to our problem. Ansie at HQ was the only one wanting to help. What we have now is a Tata body with a Mazda engine after another few thousand spend. Moral of the story is DO NOT buy the Tata bakkie at all!!!
