CHEVY SPARK- RENTALR10 000 - 4 DAYS

On my recent holiday in Cape Town I rented the cheapest car from Europcar which was a Chevy Spark. When the paerwork was processed the company DEBITED my credit card with an amount of R8700 for nobody knows why?? The said amount was debited to my acoount and not merely authorised as other companys do. I returned the vehicle, in one piece with no damages, to the airport on 6 Janaury 2013. It is 17 January today and Europcar has not refunded the amount of R8700 for who know waht??

I contacted their Head Office, Debbie who promised that the refund will be made. Paula from the Cape town office also confirmed that a refund will be made, this was on 14 Jan 2013. I received an e-mail confirming that the refund was indeed made and that it will reflect in my account the next day. Still no refund!!! If it has been made it has nt been made to my acoount.

We have a Constitution in this country that entrenches a freedom of choice. If you choose to use this supplier you do it at your own peril!!! Most expensive rental of my entire life and they do nt tell that to you up front.
