I purchased a brand vehicle K2700 from KIA Fourways branch 4 weeks prior to receiving the vehicle on 20.06.2012. Six months having take delivery delivery of the vehicle, serious RUST appeared on the bin of the vehicle and this was the beginning of my problems. I reported this poor quality issue at the delearship where I bought the vehicle. Since January 2013 l have been sent up and down from Dealership to panelbeating companies for an issue that should not not occured. The vehicle and quality of the bin should have been checked by the manufacturer (local supplier in Witbank) as well as KIA South Africa.
After taking the vehicle to dealerships, l was perplexed to be informed that the whole was incorrectly constructed and of poor quality. More rusting parts in the bin were revealed to me by the panelbeating experts that were inspecting the bin for qoutation for repairs. None of the recommended dealerships could repair the bin on the vehicle. They ALL concured that a new original bin be purchased to replace the current as it could not be repaired. Today 10.05.2013, the same delearship informed me that they will repair the current bin thats of poor quality and will continue to collap
