On 01/02/2014 we went to Adega in Boksburg to celebrate my mom's birthday. We were there at 16h30. Long story short..my dad ordered a Hunter Gold, but got something else instead. After explaining to the waiter that it's the wrong drink, he eventually got the correct one.Us as ladies ordered a bottle of wine, only to be told that they don't have stock. During the course of the early evening we had to ask for clean ashtrays. We ordered our Starters, needles to say it was a disaster, the chicken livers were tasteless. My dad ordered Sashimi Salmon but instead got some "concoction" on rise?? He sent it back. Then the correct dish arrives, but oh my goodness not only was the presentation pathetic, the salmon was rotten. Well well well, it just kept getting worse. The ladies bathrooms was by far the worst I have ever seen. It was dirty, smelley and totally unhygienic. The entire place seems to be falling apart. I guess its because the outside area looks filthy too. Now thinking about it, no wonder the restaurant was quite. People like us, who actually supported this restaurant before, now stay away. I have written to Adega's Head Office twice and very conveniently, no response
