Schwabinger Stuben is generally a friendly place, however:
Having visited Schwabinbger Stuben several times with my family it has become a matter of concern that every single time, a manager named Zee has been seen and heard abusing, insulting and intimidating staff members.
At one point she stared down a Junior member of staff while being physically threatening.
At another point Zee was extremely vitriolic to a member of staff who one could see had been so heavily demoralized by her that the staff member had given up all hope.
This is not management, it is tyranny.
Various other threats have been overheard by friends of ours, including several contraventions of South African Labor Law. All of which we have no doubt have been implemented.
The atmosphere is destroyed because of her attitude and so we will no longer be going to Schwabinger Stuben.
I advise others to vote with their feet and simply not patronize what would otherwise be a friendly establishment until it becomes clear to the ownership that staff abuse is unacceptable. I say this as an employer myself.
It is a pity, because Schwabinger Stuben would do very well without her.
