I had the UNFORTUNATE experience of eating at the Ocean Basket in Elarduspark. Not sure what that mall is called as we were passing by.
The starter rolls from PNP were dry and old. The mussels in the starter were not cooked and we sent it back. They RECOOKED it and sent the same mussels back. The manager came to our table - an old Portuguese or Greek lady and proceeded to rearrange the table in a loud brusque manner without so much as a "hello".
The platter arrives with hardest overfried fish you can imagine. The prawns were overcooked and dry and they had poured some sort of yellow sauce over everything.
It was so horrible that we were unable to eat anything.. SO WHY DIDN'T I COMPLAIN? My daughter begged me not to cos she said the waitress would get into trouble and she"s innocent and a foreigner. SO we asked for the bill and at that point a young man who is the cashier came and asked "is everything ok". They saw the uneaten food. when I explained everything his response was "but we did send it back". He was referring to the mussels and he seemed a bit slow cos when I explained abt recooking the food he didn't seem to understand what the problem was.
