This branch is under really poor management. I don't even know where to begin. We have had SO many situations with them. Orders taking over an hour (which we would have been understanding about had they phoned us), things arriving cold, items forgotten, wrong items brought.
The most recent incident happened last night. Our order took a very long time to get here (and in fact arrived 15 minutes after Debonairs closed). The branch understaffed on drivers and overloaded the two guys who were on duty with a million deliveries.
I called the branch to complain and ended up on the phone to the manager arguing for near on 20 minutes about how he 'wouldn't be giving my pizza to me for free', and each time I said that they'd taken over an hour which is against Debonairs' policy he repeatedly argued that "but the food is hot and fresh". Over and over.
If I didn't pay for that delivery, and took the order, the driver would have been forced to pay. I found out that returned deliveries the manager pays for (not the driver) and they get thrown in the garbage. So this manager chose to rather have a R400 order returned unpaid for, AND throw away a customer.
