I ordered 3 1/4 chicken chips&role meals at Nandos Woodstock. While eating we discovered that one of the chickens were still raw and. The first thing that came to mind was that salmonella food poisoning would be easily contracted this way. I immediately stopped eating my chicken, which wasn't finished yet and phoned Nandos and spoke to Fedilus who I later discovered was the manager on duty that night. I explained to him what happened & he said he would send someone to collect the chicken & replace it. When the driver came he didn't have the replacement chicken. When I called back he asked if I requested it be well done & when I said no & asked if this rule only applied to Woodstock he said no it was standard. This was a shock to me because being a regular customer at Nandos I never had to ask for it to be well done. Also since when is it ok to eat 'underdone" chicken. He then said that he inspected it and he doesn't see blood & that they would replace it only then. Clearly there was blood or I would not have complained. The issue I have is that Nandos Woodstock now sits with my meal and my money & refuse to do anything about it and totally disregard the health hazards of raw chicken.
