I took my wife to the pizzeria Col' Caccio earlier tonight and we ordered pizzas.
My wifes was great but halfway through mine i started tasting burn.
I asked my wife if it looked and tasted burnt and she agreed, so i called the waiter over and and he said its meant to be burnt because its a wood burning oven.
Later the manager came over and i showed her mine and my wifes which was fine and she too said its meant too be like that.
Im not Gordon Ramsey, who would have thrown that pizza across the room but i know my pizza.
Having been to Bardelli's and Satori's in Kenilworth and Kalk Bay many times, both have wood burning ovens,
Its like i don't know what im talking about complaining about a burnt pizza, and they dismissed it, assuming i want a freebie.
Besides that the. pizza was bland and tasted like a toaster cheese.
So for the price and the bad attitude i hope nobody who likes authentic Italian pizza eats there.
Had they listened to my complaint and dealt with it professionally i would not have written here, but alas no.
If there is one thing in this world i know about, its pizza and Col'Caccio was bad.
Never going back!
