I ordered a Pizza from Debonairs this evening at 10 to 7 and was told that I have to order over R50 if I want delivery so I upped my order which meant I had to pay by card as I only had R50 cash. I was then asked how much the tip would be. I gave R10 which is overgenerous on a R50 order. I was told it would be with me in half an hour. It is now 9:00pm and still no delivery - I phoned in at 8:30 & 'jacobus' thought he had covered the phone & said to someone that I was complaining about late delivery and was laughing & he thought it was a big joke that they were so late. I have been a customer of Debonairs for many years but after this treatment think I will use one of the other establishments. This 'jacobus' claimed to be a manager but I have no idea how he can call himself that. l have paid a tip for this service - it is now 2 hours & 30 minutes since I placed my order. 2hrs 40mins - phoned again 4th time & am told I didn't place an order. Why did they take my credit card details if I didn't place an order? Then the story changes that my order wasn't for delivery but collection. 21:40 just been delivered with R10 cash tip returned.
