The below was written on Saturday, 24 August 2013, just after the incident happened:
Just had a encounter perpetrated by black bouncers with a non-SA accent at Cubana-Summerstrand. Two friends were turned away because they were wearing sneakers, but we saw atleast three white men when we were standing outside looking in wearing sneakers. I went back to ask why those three white men were inside if people in sneakers are not allowed in and they arrogantly said "right of admission reserved". If you will ever see me in another cubana ever again, shoot me for being freakin dumb. I am tired of discrimination.
Not only is this encounter in nature - but its the self hate at its best. Not only that, it was sexist and. Now just cause a woman has a, she has to wear heels or pumps (which are predominantly worn by females) in order to enter this establishment. A lesbian female who wears male clothing and shoes (preferably sneakers) will not be let in unless she's a white male?
You will never EVER see me at Cubana Summerstrand, and I will make sure that as many people as I can will never set foot in that club again. Maybe only whites will end up there.
