Bad food received

This afternoon on my way to CapeTown we stopped at the Engen garage on the N1 Bloemfontein to pop in for a late lunch. What a waste of time and money. We order a Dagwood to share a generous joe and onion rings
The chips were probably more than 3 days old, tasteless. The egg on the Dagwood was so over cooked you could not bite through it and not even knife could cut through it. The chicken was over cooked that you had to remove the crumbs to try and eat it. The onion rings were so over cooked it looked burned

The assistant manager apologised and did give some discount but how in the world did Wimpy's standard went this bad. I have always maintained that Wimpy is not the best but you could still in some way get away with an edible plate. Never again - time was about 3h30
