On Saturday, 6/7/2013 around 09h10, we visited the wimpy for coffee and some breakfast. We ordered coffee and a bowl of oats with honey. We had to ask for the honey after the oats came and they brought syrup. Secondly i asked for a regular sized desert spoon as it is ridiculous to expect a grown-up to eat oats with a teaspoon. The waitress just said sorry we don't have. I alerted her to the fact that another wimpy branch gave me the same line but then brought me a spoon. She insisted they don't have without being willing to look for one and i asked to speak to the manager. Five minutes later i had to ask another waitress for a spoon and to see the manager as the first waitress just disappeared and no manager came on first request. Ten minutes after receiving the oats (which by then was cold), the manager came to our table and said they only have one big spoon and cannot find it. No apologies for not coming when first called or anything. This is unacceptable behaviour and surely i'm not the only customer who wants a big spoon to eat like a normal grown-up? I will stop supporting Wimpy if this is their attitude towards loyal supporters who keeps their doors open.
