I was at Nandos cresta today with 4 adults and two children. My daughter does not like Nandos so I got her KFC. I asked the manager Steve if she could eat her meal with the rest of us eating Nandos. He said no. Without any need to be nice to me.
What is bad is his attitude. He was talking to me but kept looking around not focusing on the conversation. He was just unprofessional. After that treatment we all felt that we didn't want to support Nandos. When I told him that we were leaving, he said fine. He didn't try to accommodate us at all. In fact it seemed that he was trying to affirm his authority.
I want to know if this is the thinking of Nandos itself. Why did you turn away a big group that could only add to your customer base. Does Nandos not want us to eat at their restaurants. Why do you hire people that should not be working in that industry as they don't understand customer care. I demand a call from Nandos cresta. I demand to know how you can treat people like that. How well is your restaurant doing that you can turn away groups. Do you understand the power of social media and its destructive force on a restaurant chain!
