We arrived with a voucher from City Slicker and were given our choices of which we chose Chicken Livers and Snails. After waiting for some time, our waiter informed us that we couldn't have either because there was no cream. The manager had gone into town to purchase more. We were told he was going to be a while, and recommended the Prawn Cocktail. I was having prawns as a main, so I ordered a fried calamari starter. Both were disgusting. Prawns were watery and the sauce tasteless. I had 1 piece of calamari and almost threw up. Fried calamari is normally battered - as it is in every other restaurant I've eaten in). When it arrived, unbattered, it was swimming in oil and inedible!! We didn't even bother complaining, because there was no other choice on the menu, so we left it uneaten and ordered our main course. Grilled prawns and Steak. After waiting for a ages for our main course, our waiter then informed us that there was no garlic butter!!! I saw red, got up an walked out, two hours later and no food eaten I have written to them and so has City Slicker and to date I'm still waiting for the promised call back from a man called Morne. The restaurant was half full!
