More than a month ago (13/03/2013) I applied for a Discovery credit card. I forward all the documents they requested. An SMS was send congratulating me on my successful application and that the card has been send. After 2 weeks not receiving the card I phoned Discovery. I was told that my the application has been closed and I must resubmit the documents. This time I received an email saying "Our credit assessment reflects that due to your current financial commitments we are unable to offer you a Discovery Card at this time". When I phoned Discovery, I was told that Trans Union declined my application. I phoned Trans Union who denied it saying that it is Discovery who approve or decline applications. Discovery confirm that on their system there is no reason given why it is declined. After numerous calls to Discovery I still in the dark.
