I enquired about my RA at liberty life in case of retrenchment or if I were to resign. Shockingly I was told that I receive nothing back if I were to cancel my policy. I find this appalling and unacceptable. This means that the thousands of hard earned money I've paid over the years into this policy was for nothing. Surely if I can't afford a policy, I would think that I'm not the sole looser. Shockingly. I would like a response or I will be forced to take this further.
Cancellation of the policy
Upon cancellation there are no refund of premiums. The policy is a risk plan and does not have an investment benefit to it. You will forfeit the premiums paid as well as the benefits.
Unfortunately you cannot put a hold on the policy. Premiums will have to be paid to date on a monthly basis to prevent it from lapsing.
