Living up to their promises

I would just like to say a HUGE thank you to OUTsurance, and Charlotte Jones from SIAS.

My son had a terrible accident just after the Grasmere toll plaza at 4.30pm on 12 April. I had only been insured with OUTsurance for 12 days, and expected to go through a long and very drawn out process as my car was written-off.

OUTsurance was outstanding - from the moment the accident was reported. We received a call from them to organise the towing of my car within 30 minutes of an eyewitness calling the 0860080000 number that was on the windscreen of my car. They contacted my son's friend who was at the accident scene and gave him authorisation to sign for the tow truck, as we were on our way to the hospital where the ambulance was taking our son.

The assessor from SIAS, Charlotte Jones, came to see us the following week, and was incredibly professional, efficient and compassionate. She kept us updated the entire time and our claim was resolved within 10 days. OUTsurance has also assured us that we will receive a refund for my premiums (I had paid the premiums upfront for a year).

Thanks OUTsurance - for 'bending over backwards'!
