The Absa email servers must be down. Either that, or someone is ignoring their emails.
Some time ago I reported a suspect transaction on my credit card which was eventually only resolved through the intervention of this website. After reversing the transaction (a very tedious process), I noticed on my latest statement, four months after the fact, that the transaction has appeared again, it has been re-reversed. I queried this development with the person who originally resolved it with several emails, each time progressively copying more and more people from Absa. I have not had a single reply even acknowledging my query despite the first email being sent almost a week ago today.
The proverbial straw that broke the camel's back has finally arrived. Goodbye Absa, its been an OK-ish 33 years. If you behave like this when my eye is firmly on you- who knows what happens when I'm not watching.
