Claim taking foreve

It took iwyze 2 hours to call me, give me a quote and sign me up when i took my first policy with them in 2011. Now I have to claim due to an unfortunate incident that's happened in my house, its been almost a month and i have not heard from them. i cannot get through to their telephones due to high calls volume, the lady who is handling my claim has been ignoring my emails. i sent all the info i had (the info that was never discussed with me when i took up my policy) i gave them everything i had, now i have been waiting. no feedback no nothing, i have been sending her follow up emails, she is not even bothered. i have been without a phone for almost a month, my kids have been without a TV for almost a month, yet i pay insurance premiums on a monthly basis without fail. all i get is daily SMSs that my claim is being validated, thats it. how long can it really take to finalise a claim of less than R50k??? im hoping someone will eventually phone me. im out of here after this, Insurers are supposed to give us peace of mind, yet im stressing now because my claim cannot be finalised, why???
