Blocked Account?!?!

I received a SMS with the following msg: "Your ABSA Credit Card is blocked for transactions pending receipt of your FICA documents. Please submit to nearest branch ID and proof of residential address". In this time of phishing I phone ABSA to make sure the msg is from them and according to call centre person it DOES come from ABSA. Not "your card WILL be blocked" but "IT IS BLOCKED". No warning, nothing. I now have to go and FICA my ABSA account AGAIN (FICAed home loan two weeks ago). ABSA does not work my office hours, when must I do this?!?! WHY must I do this again?! I am going to close my ABSA accounts! Does ABSA think that SMS is the best way to communicate with clients?!?! This was the final straw. I have had ENOUGH OF ABSA!!
