Money missing, no response from bank

We were away on a business trip for a month. We had to make several large payments to guest houses, all of which had gone through except for one.

We had paid an amount of R2550 to a guest house as a deposit. We have stayed with the guest house before and have confirmed that the correct account number was used since we could compare new info with old info that worked. The guest house owner never received the deposit thus we had to make another payment for the deposit. We used the exact same details as before and this time the payment went through.

The payment which did not go through to the guesthouse did not reflect on the bank statement however the money is gone from the account without a trace. We phoned the bank to report the issue but since we were on the road we didn't have much time to follow up with the bank.

We however have not heard from the bank at all and there still isnt any trace of the money. I am wondering if we'll ever see that money again especially since FNB seems to not care about the fact that we lost R2550.
