I have never had such bad services from a bank before. I settled my 2 credit cards 4 years ago and Standard bank never closed the accounts. I re-sent proof of payment to Standard bank 3 weeks ago and i am still waiting for Standard bank to confirm that the accounts are settled and closed. I logged a complaint with their complaint center ref 33278738, but nobody seems to respond. Standard bank is quick to hand you over, but if you send them proof that these accounts were settled 4 years ago, they can't even stick to their turnaround around time of 3 days. I have been struggling for 3 weeks to get a letter from them.
