Got an unpaid item on my account, had already supplied goods for the transaction to a. Could not get a copy of the unpaid item to proceed with reporting the matter to the police. Phoned the bank to clear the O/D caused by the reversal, and in my opinion the item was supposed to contra the initial deposit. The deposit was uncleared whilst the reversal was effected on the spot. For them to lift the suspension, I had to make another visit to the bank in person, despite being there earlier on. Surely such matter should be resolved telephonically. I wonder why the bank is not willing to investigate or assist in, let alone guidance in such cases.
