I went to North Gate on 06 April 2013 to apply for a credit card. I was told by the service consultant that she will also upgrade my account from gold to titanium which i agreed to. Today 10 April 2013 i tried to log on my Internet banking with the gold card that i have which i failed, i then called standard bank to enquire about this and was told it was due to the new card that was issued which will only be available on Monday. I was also told this is standard procedure for cancelling the other card which the service consultant did not tell. I am having a problem i cant use my Internet banking or use the card to swipe for any purchases. How convenient is this this?
What i don't understand is that why cancelled the other card before i receive the new one? What an inconvenience!!!
