I just want to raise my dissatisfaction about how African bank has treated me as customer, I had a loan and credit card account with them which was settled on the 12/03/2010 and an amount paid in respective of the loan was R17, 025.76 and for the credit card was R2, 011.80.
However African bank came back to me after a couple of months claiming that I owed them one month instalment of which I disputed because I settled my account and I had to apply for settlement letter that I received only after two weeks and since the accounts were settled on the 12/03/2010, I reversed all instalments due for African bank because I settled my accounts with them, but they still insisted that I owe them one month instalment. Therefore I had to request them to proof it to me, of which they failed to proof and I find it very much disingenuous for them to come back and debit my account without my consent, however I ultimately ended up leaving them to take that one month instalment but they still continue to debit my account as if they wish as if I should not have settled my account with them and I need your assistance because I can not continue to pay settled account.
