I had a cheque account with fnb with an overdraft facility. I changed my salary details to a different bank and made small payments to the fnb overdraft facility.l received a call from johannes a legal representative from Revco collecting on behalf of Fnb.we made arrangements for me to pay the account and johaness then explained to me that the facility had to be paid in full nt small paymnts.
In march l checked my itc profile and to my surprise l was listed on itc.there was a default listing for that over draft.l find this unfair as no 1 from fnb called me on my cell or work number.l did not receive a letter from fnb advising me of this. Even the representative frm Revco from their collection agency did not even mention this.
I find this unfair, Fnb is playing with people 's lives.l cannot buy a house .l work inthe financial sector and with an itc listing, it ll be difficult for me to find another job. Icalled 087 577 4000 to have the account closed, l was told that they will not remove the default listing they will update it to paid up. That is not good enough for me and l would like it to be removed, had l been notified accordingly l would have made every effort to rectify it.
