I have just seen on my statement that i was charged twice for HonFee, that is R180 of charges. These charges i see are for going over into negative in ones account, what i don't understand is that i don't have an overdraft and i have sms banking which lets me know when a purchase was made and what my remainder of my balance is. I have gone into negative but why would the bank allow this if i dont have an overdraft and if my sms after each purchase says there is ex amt in my account. I find the charges unacceptable and if this is our Nedbank does business i will rather go to another Bank. I bank with HSBC and have never had an issue like this. Nedbank needs to return the money they have debited for charges as i will not accept this. This is really terrible way to treat their customers especially if i have a really good credit rating with them.
