Telephonicly I have tried to changed my postal address with Standard bank for the past 4 years now. Every time they change it and yet my mail are sent to my old address time and time again. i again went into the branch to change it last year together with my street address. I went to all the trouble that you have to go through because of policy last year to get a proof af street address from Telkom in order to finally change my address at Standard Bank. They printed it and stamped it and I took it into the branch. the guy at information were very friendly and helped me and changed it. Big was my surprise when a Standard bank machine swallowed my card and I phoned to cancel it to find out that they still had my old address. I went to the branch to collect my new card today and took two different proofs of address papers (which they both declined) - the one being the one I used last time to change my addresss and which was verified by die guy at the desk as legit. Oh and my postal address was wrong again (the old one). I get all my bills via email so it is really a lot of trouble to find a suitable proof of address just for Standard bank to keep loosing track of the changes.
