2 Month waiting period for settlement to be sorted

In December 2012 my car was written off, due to the holidays all was delayed, but in January all was confirmed by my insurance company. The settlement process began and on the 8th of Feb my insurer paid over their settlement amount to Wesbank. When I called to find out what the process would be now, I was told that once the money had cleared they would then claim the balance from my shortfall insurance which is held with Regent, and that I should give it 7 working days for this to happen. I then received an sms on 27 of Feb, stating that the insurer (Regent) required the NATIS documents, I called to ask why it had taken 20 days for this request to come through and followed up with my insurer who said that the document was sent. I then received an sms stating that the documents were received and to allow 10 working days for all to be processed. It is now nearly a month since this sms came through and I have not heard anything from Wesbanks Specialised insurance claim department - who I believe is a contracted company which is sad as it reflects badly on WesBank whos customer service has always impressed me. I dont understand how this process can take 2 months with no feedback!
