I submitted a claim to my insurance which is First for Women on 13 March 2013 for my rear window that was broken and had to be replaced. The person i spoke to was Nina from the claims department. Nina approved the claimed and told me that she handed it over to Windscreen Direct who will request further information from me and to schedule an appointment to do the fitment. On the 16th of March 2013 at 12:30 Windscreen Direct came to my house to do the repairs. As they where busy with the repair work they had to open up the boot to better take out the broken glass that fell inside the boot cover and told me they will vacuum up all the broken glass. They closed the boot and when they wanted to open it up again it was totally jammed. As a result of the broken glass that is still left in boot and which fell into the locking mechanism my boot still don't want to open. The broken glass is still laying in my boot but the window has been repaired?! Is it not the job of the technicians to have vacuumed up those broken glass pieces? I want my boot to be fixed because it is as result of the broken glass pieces that the boot don't want to open and i don't see the need to submit a new claim.
