My mother is a 67 year old pensioner, her pension fund is managed by Sanlam. She has a broker Koos Barkhuizen that is handling all her afairs. My mother asked me to contact Koos Barkhuizen to get her payslip of her pension from Sanlam. When I phoned Mr Barkhuizen en asked him for the proof of her pension he said that it is no problem and he will email it to us on Friday. Since Friday nothing happend. When I emailed him to asked what is the hold up with the documents he only responded Sunday night to say he can not give it to me, he will contaxt my mother. Nothing happed yet. My mother asked me to attent to this, becuase she is not available during the day and do not have internet acess. She is old and is urgenty looking for these pay slips.
Her pension is with Sanlam and why is this taking so long for anybody to give any feedback. Is this the manner that Sanlam is treating old people??
All she needs is her proof of pension! Is there nobody at Sanlam that can do this? Seems to me not even the brokers that work with Sanlam is not able to do their job.
