Recover money that was paid in wrong account

On 2nd of Oct 2012, money was paid into my clients account, only to find that she has closed the account few years back, account was given to another costumer, by Std bank. I am battling since the 18th of Oct to get my clients money back. On 29th of Jan 2013, Std bank request letter signed by client, then money will be retrieved, 11Febr, authorisation approved - waiting for payment, 19Febr, can not help me!!!
