To date it has been 131 days that i am without a bank card from Standard Bank, after i have been into numerous branches, phoned the card division and had a consultant at the Brooklyn Branch to phone the head office to order me a new bank card.
i received no notification from Standard Bank that my Bank card will expire in November 2012 as most bank's sent an SMS informing you that your card will expire.
I then went three times to different branches trying to find out what is going on. the only response i received is that i should call the card division. when phoning the card division two times, i was then advised that no card had been ordered by a branch and that i have to go into a branch to order a new card!
it has been a month since i was at a branch with a consultant ordering me a new card and i was informed that it would take 5 o 10 working days. its now been 31 days!!!
i had to use my credit card to withdraw money from other ATM's as i was not able to swipe! now my bank charges has INCREASED!
could i please get a response from Standard Bank and get a new card and have ALL the bank charges paid back to me as this was YOUR fault!!
