I was in an accident caused by a client of outsurance who admitted it was his fault. So, as is the case, the innocent party seems to have to do all the running around, follow-ups. etc.
Accident happened on 25/1/2013 and they are able to pay out now 27/2/2013, and coupled with that is the fact that I have to sign a waiver confirming no further claims. However, if the repairs firm finds any further damage, they will have to get auth from the assessor? Really? After I signed a waiver and the monies are paid into my acc! To add insult to injury, when my vehicle is in for repairs, there is NO courtesy car (As if I caused the accident!) So much for outsurance "bending over backwards i.t.o service" So, to ensure the quote is reasonable, I have to run around and obtain quotes as they only provided me with 1! The tones of the communication did not sit well with me and after advising that I will list my complaint on HELLO PETER do I obtain correspondence containing empathy - A bit too late. I feel short-changed! Would I by word of mouth spread my dissatisfaction of Outsurance a resounding YES! Oh, and btw, the repairer only saw photo's of my vehicle today (after the complaint)! Repairs-2wks
