I am utterly disgusted and outraged. On my way home on Brickfield Rd, Edenvale, there was a water leak - rd was full of water. Hit a pothole under water & shredded front right tyre and left me with exposed mag wheel. Moved off rd onto embankment which was wet & muddy. Rd not in a built up area with open veld behind it. Terrible spot for a single woman to be stuck. Called hubby to come. Called Help@out twice to tow my car home. Was told twice this was a motor claim! Was very upset & feeling very unsafe & was getting late 18:00. Still haven't paid excess for last claim (hail damage Oct '12) cos panelbeaters repairing only on 25/3! Now I must find another 3k for another claim? Who has 6k just lying around? Help@out say u can call for a tow in their terms!!! Hubby took 10-20 mins to get there. Said tyre couldn't be changed need a tow. Drove his car and found tow driver who I had to pay and got my car home. I pay my insurance & been with Outsurance for years. Total lack of care or concern from them. NOT RIGHT. A tow was denied to me and is not acceptable from Outsurance' side. You left me stranded and in a dangerous situation. What do I pay my insurance for?
