I use internet banking. Recently added 2 beneficiaries to repeat payments. This month one beneficiary was not paid. The bank says it is because I have exceeded my EFT limit.
But the reason I've added beneficiaries on repeat payment is to make my life easier and not to phone the bank every time to increase my EFT limit. Plus they don't warn you when you add a beneficiary for repeat payment that you have to make sure that you are not over your EFT limit.
To phone the bank every time you exceed your EFT limit is wasting a lot of time, you have to follow voice prompts that take time; then you have to hold for an operator, then you have to answer 80 questions...
