Discovery Life and Poor Service Delivery

I am applaud by the lack of service delivery from Discovery Life.

Been with them for 7 years and wanted to revise my Life Policy. Called into call center and requested to see a local Discovery Financial Adviser. Was referred to Mr Shabier February who not only arrived 15 minutes late for the appointment setup for the 19th Feb 2013, but to this date has yet to make contact with me with a revised quote on my specific needs as per our meeting that day. That's 2 weeks later to get a quote and counting - which is unacceptable.

Called into the Discovery Life call center a week after the scheduled meeting to follow up on my quote and they said they would escalate the quote request. Well, I am still waiting another week later and am now ready to move my life insurance policy to a company that actually wants to retain their existing business and give me a better deal anyway - something that Discovery Life obviously is not interested in doing with this type of service delivery and quiet frankly complete lack of interest from all parties concerned, including the call center agent that took my call and to whomever he would have escalated the matter to!

Shame on you Discovery Life!
